Moms Connect is dedicated to empowering mothers who lack a safe and healthy support system.  Many of our Moms Connect moms have experienced interactions with the child welfare or criminal justice systems. Our focus is on assisting mothers to navigate these systems, access necessary resources, and build their community of support in order to continue parenting their children. 

1.  Moms Connect is always accepting childcare volunteers for our gatherings.

3.  A financial donation may be used in one of the following ways: 

   1. $20 would pay a Parent Advisory Council member for one hour of their advising time 

   2. $50 sponsors one mom to receive a Christmas gift from Moms Connect based on their identified favorite items 

   3. $100 covers rent for one gathering 

   4. $150 funds our Fill the Gap fund for one mother per calendar year to meet needs that cannot be found through local resources

When moms come to our gatherings, they can expect a warm and welcoming environment where they’re valued and supported.  Here are some key highlights: 

1. Community and Connection: Moms will have the opportunity to connect with other mothers, share experiences, and build supportive relationships. 

2. Shared Meal: A meal is provided, creating a relaxed atmosphere for moms to bond and enjoy each other's company. 

3. Childcare: Background-checked childcare providers are available, ensuring that moms can participate fully in the gathering while their children are safely cared for. 

4. Shopping: We often have many tangible donations from the community and our moms are welcome to gather anything they, or their children, may need. 

5. Transportation: We are able to provide a ride to and from each gathering for families who do not have their own vehicle, thanks to VIP Transport.
